Olympic Peninsula Board (OPB) of Officials for Volleyball

The OPB was formed in 1974 and has served northwest Washington, including Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam Counties.


OPB provides volleyball officials to high schools and middle schools in our region that are members of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).


The OPB strives to support state-wide standards of volleyball officiating, training and recruitment provided by the Washington Officials Association (WOA). The OPB is governed by their association Constitution and By-Laws.

Officiating Opportunities

As a Volleyball Official...

As a volleyball official, you will be considered an independent contractor. As you register to officiate volleyball, you will need to sign an agreement/contract indicating you understand and will comply with the professional standards of being a sports official.


The volleyball seasons run in the fall, September to November, and Spring, April to May.
